Connect end of support: replace your diagram and math macros

Atlassian ends support for apps built on the older Connect platform on 31 January 2027 (Atlassian announcement). Many popular macros for diagrams and math in Confluence Cloud are still Connect apps. Our apps are built on Forge and keep your content inside Atlassian.

How to switch

Install the Forge app from the Atlassian Marketplace ($0.01 per month up to 10 users, 30-day free trial for larger teams).
On each page, copy the text from the old macro into the new one and save.
Remove the old Connect app once your pages are moved.
